Motion is Lotion! Movement is vital to life, and it is also inevitable. Even when you are perfectly still, your heart is pumping, your breath is entering and exiting your lungs, your cells are active, your muscles are managing the distribution of weight through your structure... Bringing movement into your life isn't just about "getting regular exercise", but rather bringing awareness to the daily movement your life contains, finding grace and ease. Bringing movement into your life is joyful when the movement you choose to include is something you enjoy that feels good in your body.
The word health is related to the word whole. Healing is the process of finding your wholeness, or becoming more you in all your dimensions. This means different things to different folks, and is very personal and subjective. Finding a team of humans, creatures and contexts will give you the tools and resources to heal. This might include health care practicioners, teachers, friends, family, pets, plants, landscapes, cultures and more. Humans are complex, and so is healing.
You are the expert of your own body - you know your body best. Your body is a physical structure that has architecture and function, and the sophisticated capacity to respond to external factors.
